Rachel McGladery has 29 years of experience in the greater Vancouver commercial real estate market. She has completed over 2,000 lease transactions and sold over 300 million dollars of commercial real estate over the past 29 years. She is focused on commercial sales and leasing in Vancouver and the Fraser Valley. She carefully monitors infrastructure and population growth and is on top of current market trends and opportunities.

Her extensive industry experience ensures she knows every Landlord, Tenant and Developer in every market allowing her to place her clients in the best possible properties with trustworthy partners.

Rachel is dedicated to providing exceptional service to her clients.  Her expert experience in leasing enables her to navigate her clients through the leasing process with utmost care, skill and professionalism. Her sharp negotiating skills, profound industry knowledge and strong business relationships ensure optimal value for her clients.  

From 2003 until 2012, Rachel was Director of Leasing for Wesgroup Properties, one of Western Canada's largest private real estate and development companies. Rachel managed a commercial portfolio of over 2.4 million square feet with properties covering territory across the GVRD. This diverse portfolio enabled Rachel to become a market expert in the Vancouver and the Fraser Valley markets while developing a strong network of clients and friends. 

In 2012 Rachel returned to working in brokerage where she first started her career in 1996. She joined RE/MAX Commercial Advantage and since joining was promoted to Senior Vice President, awarded the RE/MAX Platinum Club Award in 2015 and inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame in 2016.  While at RE/MAX Commercial she has leased and sold numerous office buildings and strip malls.  Most recently she sold a portfolio of three office buildings with a value in the $80,000 million dollar range.

Over her career Rachel has leased space to private and public companies such as Vancouver Coastal Health, BC Bio Med, ICBC, Public Works & Services, Royal Bank, Tim Hortons, Wendy’s, Fed-Ex, Frito Lay, Rona and numerous medical, legal and financial firms.  Each new deal gave her valuable insight and each new deal made her better at providing exceptional service to her clients.

One of Rachel’s mentors taught her when she was a young broker, to always hire the expert in the field.  Rachel strives to be that expert for her clients, connecting her clients with the experts and colleagues she trusts for their construction, accounting and legal requirements.

Rachel believes in giving back and sharing her experiences and knowledge with the next generation of woman professionals in Canada.  She served on the Board of Director’s for CREW Vancouver where she also served as a mentor.  Currently she volunteers as a mentor for the CMOLIK Foundation, transforming lives and investing in tomorrow’s new leaders and thinkers.

Joshua has been in the industry for 8 years and has a strong real estate background. After starting as a research analyst at Lee & Associates he quickly moved into a role on the Industrial Team as an Associate Broker.  In late 2019 he made the move to Re/Max Commercial Advantage where he worked with both Rachel McGladery the Iconic Properties Group both of which we're ranked as one of the highest grossing Re/Max teams in Western Canada. Joshua works with both Landlords and Tenants and has experience in multiple asset classes including the Sales and Leasing of Office, Retail, Multifamily and Industrial. As a current Vice-President Joshua is a critical component to the teams preparation of valuations, contract management, marketing, due diligence and negotiations.
